About
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient flow of goods and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to load and unload shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE .
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Must be comfortable with frequent Lifting , pushing, and pulling of items up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and workflow.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring repeated bending, stooping, and lifting.
