Job Summary:
Join our cutting-edge logistics facility in San Jose, California, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are looking for motivated individuals to support a wide range of warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that products move seamlessly through our supply chain to reach our customers. You'll be part of a team dedicated to accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a safe work environment. This is a great opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform various warehouse tasks including receiving, unloading, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (training provided).
  • Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, process orders, and manage stock.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting activities.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve processes.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operation.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment is advantageous, but training will be provided.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn warehouse software.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following Safety procedures.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
