About
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing improvements to our inventory management processes. Your work will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points, ensuring adequate stock without overstocking.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized and accessible inventory records, both physical and digital.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
- Manage returned goods and ensure proper disposition.
- Assist with training new team members on inventory control procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar logistics role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
