We have an exciting opening for a skilled Forklift Operator in our Boise, Idaho warehouse. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your efficiency and precision in handling materials directly impact our logistics operations. We are looking for experienced operators who prioritize Safety and possess a strong work ethic. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately pick, palletize, and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper placement and identification of goods.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Must be capable of Lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Understand and follow all logistics and warehouse operational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and equipment manuals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs as needed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
