We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment to our valued customers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in logistics operations. You will be responsible for various tasks within the fulfillment process, contributing directly to the smooth operation of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified requirements.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Label and stage packages for shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Capable of Lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety is paramount.
- Experience with logistics software is beneficial but not required.
