We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Denver, Colorado. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and upholding strict Safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with Safety regulations and company policies, emphasizing the correct use of PPE.
- Manage inventory levels and accuracy through effective cycle counting and auditing procedures.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the logistics framework.
- Implement and enforce Safety protocols, conducting regular safety training and inspections.
- Manage workload distribution and ensure timely completion of all tasks, including those requiring significant Lifting.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and transportation, to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all warehouse machinery is in good working order.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, accidents, and employee grievances.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies regarding security and asset protection.
- Lead by example in promoting a strong Safety culture throughout the warehouse.
- Manage the efficient flow of goods, contributing to overall supply chain success.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and extensive experience in warehouse supervision. A deep understanding of logistics operations and a commitment to Safety are essential. Must be comfortable with the physical demands of a warehouse environment, including supervising tasks involving significant Lifting. This is a key role for our operations, requiring a proactive and responsible individual.
