Join our growing team as a Picker/Packer in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating products within our warehouse, carefully picking them, and preparing them for shipment. Success in this role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced logistics environment. We prioritize the safety of our employees, so strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve correct items and quantities from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify product details to ensure accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation accurately.
- Operate scanning equipment and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet performance targets for picking and packing accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with cycle counts and stocktaking as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Support the efficient operation of our logistics department.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a Picker/Packer role or general warehouse work is preferred. Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels. Must be capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs, and standing for extended periods. A strong commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE is required. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-volume environment. Reliability and punctuality are key.
