This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks to ensure efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
- Store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, dunnage, and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all guidelines related to safe lifting and material handling to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency and team goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the entire shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse safety best practices is beneficial.
