Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy and care.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and arrange inventory in racks and storage locations.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational goals.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification is required.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up).
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and maneuvering of materials.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
