About
Our Cincinnati, Ohio facility is looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations. In this leadership support role, you will be instrumental in ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety throughout the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory, scheduling tasks, and supporting the warehouse team. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in optimizing our warehouse performance and contributing to overall supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Oversee inventory management and conduct regular stock takes.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Manage workload distribution among warehouse staff.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, including forklifts.
- Liaise with carriers and vendors to manage inbound and outbound logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational metrics.
- Implement and improve warehouse procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and mentor new warehouse staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
- Ability to handle frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Must be diligent in using required PPE, including safety glasses and hard hats when necessary.
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
