Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics team at our St. Louis, Missouri facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory within our warehouse. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading trucks, storing and retrieving goods, and ensuring the smooth flow of products through our supply chain. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all employees to adhere to strict Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. This is a critical position that ensures the efficient functioning of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
  • Load and unload trailers and containers efficiently and safely.
  • Inspect equipment regularly and report any mechanical issues or necessary maintenance.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in designated locations.
  • Follow all established Safety procedures and regulations.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while operating equipment or in the warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
  • Understand and follow all logistics and material handling guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment.
  • Valid forklift certification is required.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to perform frequent Lifting and moving of heavy items, up to 65 lbs.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics workflows.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
