Are you a skilled Forklift Operator? We have an immediate opening at our San Antonio, Texas facility! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse. This role is critical to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is stored, retrieved, and transported accurately and on time. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment, adhering strictly to all Safety regulations. A commitment to maintaining a secure and organized work environment, along with proper use of PPE, is essential. This is a great opportunity to leverage your expertise in a dynamic warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Safely transport products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and securely.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as order picking or packing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and other logistics support tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe forklift operation and warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting of heavy materials, up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
