About
Join our state-of-the-art distribution center in San Francisco, California as a Distribution Center Associate. This dynamic role is critical to managing the flow of goods through our facility, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for individuals who are committed to Safety, possess a strong work ethic, and can contribute to a productive and organized Logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate various warehouse machinery, including forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety protocols and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Implement and practice safe Lifting techniques for all materials handled.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our Logistics operations.
- Identify and report any Safety hazards or operational inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is highly desirable. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting, standing, walking, and bending. Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Familiarity with warehouse management systems and technology. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of basic Logistics principles. Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
