Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency in inventory management, order fulfillment, and staff supervision. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. You will work closely with other departments to streamline workflows and maintain high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Process shipments and manage shipping schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (if certified).
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to minimize accidents and injuries, focusing on safe Lifting techniques.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with management, staff, and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Troubleshoot any operational issues that arise during the shift.
  • Maintain records of warehouse activities and prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in warehouse coordination or a similar logistics role is required. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Familiarity with inventory management software. Ability to perform heavy Lifting as needed. Commitment to workplace Safety is paramount. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
