Our fast-paced distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our facility. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, from receiving and stocking inventory to accurately picking and packing orders for shipment. We are committed to maintaining a **safe** and efficient work environment, and we expect all team members to uphold these standards. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to support our **logistics** operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Stock shelves and storage locations with incoming goods, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Pick items from inventory based on order sheets or system instructions.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor, aisles, and work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** rules and regulations, including the proper use of **PPE**.
- Assist with inventory control procedures, such as cycle counting and stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform any other assigned duties to support the overall warehouse operations and **logistics** flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including **lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated understanding of **safety** protocols and commitment to using **PPE**.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and sometimes demanding setting.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
