We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Receiving Clerk to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia . In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all incoming goods, ensuring that deliveries match purchase orders and that inventory is accurately recorded. This position is critical to our logistics process, ensuring that our inventory levels are correct and that products are ready for distribution. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be committed to maintaining high standards of organization and workplace Safety . We provide all necessary PPE and expect strict adherence to all safety protocols. The role may involve some Lifting of incoming materials. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify that received goods match purchase orders and delivery manifests.
- Accurately record received inventory in the WMS or inventory system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Label and tag received items as required.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed (certification may be required).
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
- Ability to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
