We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers in Des Moines, Iowa . This is a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and contributing to our overall logistics network. Your responsibilities will include receiving and unloading shipments, stocking shelves, order picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch. You will work in a physically demanding environment that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety . We provide all necessary PPE and expect all team members to follow our strict safety guidelines. The ability to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Prepare goods for shipment and stage them for loading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Report any hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
- Ability to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
