We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Austin, Texas . This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our extensive inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency. You will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth product flow and accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce established inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential stockouts or overstock situations.
- Generate inventory reports and analyze trends.
- Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with the proper handling and storage of inventory, which may include Lifting .
- Identify and recommend process improvements for inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using WMS or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with Logistics principles and practices.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety requirements and wear designated PPE .
- Capability to perform tasks including Lifting up to 40 lbs.
