About
Our Washington, D.C. facility is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this versatile role, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. You will contribute directly to the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations, ensuring that products are handled with care and delivered promptly. This position requires a proactive attitude, the ability to multitask, and a strong commitment to safety and productivity. You will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and teamwork are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock shelves and storage areas accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic math and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
