We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring efficient handling and movement of goods within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and dispatching orders, managing inventory, and assisting with general warehouse upkeep. We prioritize a safe working environment, so adherence to all Safety protocols and proper use of PPE is mandatory. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the Logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Stocking inventory in designated areas.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Following all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs). Strong understanding of warehouse operations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods. A commitment to workplace Safety and wearing required PPE is essential.
