You will operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport a variety of materials, ensuring accuracy and safety in all operations. This position requires proficiency in operating different types of forklifts and a thorough knowledge of safety protocols. You will be responsible for conducting daily inspections of your forklift, reporting any maintenance needs, and ensuring the equipment is in optimal working condition. The ability to perform sustained Lifting and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is key. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Stage products for outgoing shipments.
- Perform pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating systems.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure the correct use of PPE at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to efficient logistics and timely order fulfillment.
- Be aware of and practice safe Lifting techniques for all materials.
