Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Verify order details against shipping documents.
- Prepare shipping labels and affix them to packages.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS).
- Ensure all shipments are properly documented and logged.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing products before packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any shipping delays or issues.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming goods as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role. Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of proper packing techniques for various product types. Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE is mandatory. This role requires standing for extended periods and manual dexterity.
