About
We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. This role is critical for maintaining workflow and ensuring that inventory is accessible and properly stored. Safety is our top priority, and we seek candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to safe operating practices.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other materials.
- Stack and stage materials according to warehouse layout and safety standards.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and put-away tasks.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates and management.
- Manage the movement of goods within our logistics center, ensuring efficient handling and storage.
- Follow all guidelines for lifting and material handling to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification is required. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts. Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures. Ability to perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklifts. Strong understanding of logistics and material flow. Must be able to perform physical tasks including some lifting and maneuvering. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. Must be reliable and punctual.
