Job Summary:
Our Seattle, Washington facility is seeking a skilled Material Handler to manage the flow of goods within our warehouse. This is a critical role in our logistics network, requiring precision and efficiency. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, identifying, sorting, and moving materials and products. You will operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and effectively, ensuring that all goods are handled with care. Adherence to strict safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are non-negotiable. This position involves significant physical work, including frequent lifting of items weighing up to 60 pounds. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a strong commitment to safety in all aspects of their work. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating forklifts and a solid understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or shipping docks.
  • Inspect equipment for defects and notify maintenance personnel of any issues.
  • Stack materials in designated areas, ensuring stability and safety.
  • Assist in receiving and shipping operations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized warehouse environment.
