About
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our Omaha, Nebraska distribution center. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates to ensure efficient and safe daily operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics and safety protocols. You will be instrumental in driving productivity and maintaining a high standard of performance.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space and equipment.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels and accuracy.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving functions to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and proper PPE usage.
- Analyze performance data and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency in our logistics operations.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse procedures, logistics, and inventory management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to promoting and enforcing safety standards.
- Must be able to handle occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
