About
We are hiring Picker/Packers in Richmond, Virginia to join our growing warehouse team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves, verifying quantities, and meticulously packing them for shipment. Accuracy and efficiency are key to success. You will utilize handheld scanners and follow specific packing instructions. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to **safety**. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important. This role involves regular **lifting** of items and requires adherence to **PPE** guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all **safety** protocols and guidelines.
- Use provided **PPE** correctly.
- Report any damaged items or discrepancies.
- Achieve picking and packing performance targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Support **logistics** and inventory management.
- Perform **lifting** of products up to the specified weight limits.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy rates.
- Ability to **lift** and carry items.
- Understanding of warehouse **safety** procedures and **PPE**.
- Basic knowledge of **logistics** and order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a standing and moving environment for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
