Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a rewarding career? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow. A deep commitment to Safety is essential, and you must be proficient in operating forklifts and other machinery according to strict Safety standards. We provide all necessary PPE, and its consistent use is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and stage materials.
- Load and unload pallets and other materials from trailers and onto racks.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any issues or defects.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and help maintain accurate records.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is kept clean and free of obstructions.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Identify and report any potential Safety hazards.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics flow.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Willingness to wear and maintain required PPE.
