We are seeking a talented Front?End Architect to join our dynamic team and help us build robust, scalable, and high?performance web applications. In this position, you will work across our cloud products and our legacy platform to architect our portals using micro?front ends to ensure a seamless integration between the legacy and cloud as well as the experience for the user. Youll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of per week. Primary Responsibilities Architect scalable front?end solutions using micro?frontends Lead front?end strategy across legacy and cloud platforms Collaborate with cross?functional teams to align tech and business goals Own, manage, and maintain our Design Pattern Library and UI Toolkit Drive quality, automation, and efficiency in development workflows Evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies Mentor developers and support leadership with technical insights Define and uphold front?end coding standards and best practices Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsiveness of applications Conduct code reviews and enforce code quality Stay current with emerging trends and apply innovative solutions
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in a front end architecture role Experience working in Angular, React, .NET, and Azure Experience with the Stranger Fig pattern and micro front ends Experience with RESTful APIs, web services and microservices architecture Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle in order to improve quality and efficiency Understanding and application of Domain?Driven?Design and Event?Driven?Architecture Understanding of SOLID architectural principals Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 Deep understanding of integration technologies, middleware, and protocols Proficient in client?side scripting and Java frameworks US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent 6+ years of experience Experience with other front?end frameworks and libraries Knowledge of cloud?based architecture and microservices Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Proven excellent problem?solving skills and attention to detail Proven solid communication and teamwork abilities
Conditions
This position will support Optum Serve's performance of a United States (U.S.) Government contract and will require the successful applicant to access and/or process Non Critical Sensitive information (Personally Identifiable Information [PII]/Protected Health Information [PHI]) from or contained in a U.S. Government IT system. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
