Novello Imaging is a brand-new, state-of-the-art outpatient imaging center located in the heart of Traverse City. Our mission is to deliver exceptional patient care through advanced technology, compassionate service, and a highly skilled team of imaging professionals. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated *Radiologic Technologist* to join our clinical team.
*Position Overview*
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and an exceptional overall experience. This individual plays a key role in supporting physician diagnosis by producing accurate and timely imaging results in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform high-quality radiologic imaging examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
* Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the process.
* Operate digital radiography equipment and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines (ALARA standards).
* Accurately document patient information, exam details, and medical history in the EMR/RIS/PACS systems.
* Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.
* Follow all regulatory and accreditation requirements including ACR, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.
* Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, often during stressful or vulnerable moments.
* Assist with scheduling needs, clinical support tasks, and patient flow as needed.
*Qualifications*
* ARRT (R) certification required.
* Current State of Michigan licensure (or eligibility upon hire).
* CPR/BLS certification required.
* Previous outpatient, hospital, or urgent care imaging experience required.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
* High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality imaging.
*Work Schedule*
* Part-time; generally scheduled between *7:00 AM – 7:00 PM*, Monday through Friday with weekend rotations as needed.
* Occasional flexibility may be required based on patient volume and operational needs.
