Operator to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational excellence of our
properties. This position is responsible for ensuring that the assigned
building is operated and maintained to the highest standards of safety,
efficiency, and environmental stewardship.

What You'll Do
- Mechanical Systems Management: Install,
repair, and maintain climate control systems, HVAC, plumbing, and
electrical systems. - Building Automation Systems (BAS): Monitor
and operate BAS and computerized control systems to optimize building
performance. - Preventative Maintenance: Oversee and
contribute to our Planned Maintenance Program and Energy Management
Program for peak efficiency. - Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular safety
inspections, including emergency systems testing and fire alarm
verifications. - Interior and Exterior Upkeep: Maintain the
aesthetic appeal of residential spaces through general maintenance,
ensuring the property reflects our commitment to excellence. - Tenant Support: Respond promptly to tenant
service requests, fostering positive relationships and enhancing their
living experience.
What You Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent (trade
school or technical training preferred). - A 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering
certificate and ABSA certification. - Relevant certifications in HVAC/R or
mechanical systems maintenance. - Solid knowledge of building systems and
experience with BAS and computerized control systems. - Strong problem-solving and organizational
skills, with a keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal
abilities. - The physical ability to perform manual tasks,
lift heavy equipment, and work outdoors in various conditions.
