Role Summary:
The Finance Manager, Commercial FP&A who will focus on the tracking and enhancement of profitability for new and existing business. We're looking for a genuinely motivated business partner, for this highly analytical role, with a passion for delivering exceptional internal and external customer service, whilst keeping tight control of financial efficiencies and driving cost reductions; someone who will be just as comfortable setting an example in the office as they are creating a budget or planning a new pricing model.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Be a primary financial business partner to the business development team, providing insight on pricing strategies and account profitability for existing and new business opportunities
- Ability to translate data into business insight and provide management with direction for operational efficiencies
- Development of financial plans including partnering with Sales team to budget and forecast for the short and long term
- Provide financial visibility, including the profitability, revenue, and pricing for new and existing opportunities
- Work cross-functionally across the business with exposure to senior leadership on financial efficiencies
- Manage budgets, expenses, pricing and commercial arrangements
- Lead in advising and negotiating around pricing for commercial contracts
- Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and are delivered on budget
- Partner with Director of National Business Development to drive financial performance
- Support the Sales and Marketing department by conducting analysis of commercial opportunities and maintenance of sales commissions
- Review financial models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities
- Thorough analysis and development of new market opportunities based on current customer base and geographical coverage
- Problem solving commercial issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree qualified and 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
- Strategic thinker with an ability to drill down details
- Excellent communicator to convey analysis results in a concise and effective manner
- Strong multi-tasking skills to work cross-functionally as required
- Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis
- Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing
- Strong commercial acumen and business understanding
- Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships
- Excellent leadership qualities
- Team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
