Proposal Specialist

City Build Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading client in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) sector to find a dynamic Proposal Specialist to join their Kitchener, ON office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and strategic thinker who thrives in deadline-driven environments and enjoys collaborating with technical teams to produce standout proposals.

• Develop, write, and design compelling responses to RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs in alignment with brand and strategy.

• Collaborate closely with business development, marketing, and technical teams to gather content.

• Design visually engaging proposals using Adobe InDesign layouts, infographics, and custom graphics.

• Maintain and enhance content libraries and templates.

• Support interview preparation materials and client-facing collateral.

• Manage multiple deadlines while upholding quality and consistency.

• 3-5+ years of proposal development experience within an AEC or related professional services environment.

• Advanced Adobe InDesign skills you know how to create and edit graphics, and you take pride in beautiful layouts.

• Strong writing and editing abilities, with a sharp eye for detail.

• A warm, collaborative, and proactive personality someone whos a pleasure to work with under pressure.

• Knowledge of the AEC sectors proposal process and terminology is essential.

$75,000-$80,000
