Our Provo, Utah facility is seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and optimize our warehouse operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of our equipment and facility infrastructure. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and safety. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, sorting systems).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facility to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Operate machinery safely and use required PPE .
- Support the logistics team with technical expertise.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, mechanic, or in a similar technical role within a warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with warehouse equipment common in Logistics operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
- Familiarity with performing Lifting and physical tasks related to maintenance.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety standards and using required PPE .
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
