Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Prepare materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free from hazards.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all **safety** procedures and wear required **PPE**.
- Assist with **lifting** heavy items as part of the material handling process.
- Support the overall **logistics** operations by ensuring efficient material flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification to operate forklifts and other relevant equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy **lifting** (up to 60 pounds).
- Strong understanding of warehouse **safety** practices.
- Familiarity with **logistics** and inventory management.
- Willingness to wear required **PPE**.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Team player with a reliable work ethic.
