Job Summary:
Join our thriving logistics operation in Phoenix, Arizona, as an Inventory Control Specialist! We are looking for a highly organized and meticulous individual to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock adjustments, and implementing inventory control best practices. This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and minimizing inventory loss, directly contributing to our company's success. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a logistics environment. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential. Safety is our utmost priority, and all employees must strictly adhere to safety regulations and consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position requires physical stamina, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular and accurate cycle counts of inventory.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update inventory records within the WMS.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize waste.
  • Develop and recommend improvements to inventory control processes.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist in the training of new staff on inventory control procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, preferably within a logistics or distribution setting.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
