Join our expanding logistics network in Tampa, Florida, as a Distribution Center Associate! This is a multifaceted role supporting the daily operations of our state-of-the-art distribution center. You'll contribute to various tasks including order fulfillment, material handling, and maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving and stocking of incoming merchandise.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Understand and follow all logistics procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to lifting guidelines.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is beneficial.
- Reliable and punctual with a desire to contribute to a busy operation.
