Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular inventory counts, including cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Receive, inspect, and put away incoming stock, ensuring proper placement and labeling.
  • Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Assist in optimizing warehouse layout for efficient inventory storage and retrieval.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Handle returned goods and process them back into inventory accurately.
  • Support the logistics team with inventory-related tasks and projects.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of proper lifting techniques and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Commitment to safety standards and appropriate use of PPE.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
