Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory counts, including cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming stock, ensuring proper placement and labeling.
- Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Assist in optimizing warehouse layout for efficient inventory storage and retrieval.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Handle returned goods and process them back into inventory accurately.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related tasks and projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of proper lifting techniques and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to safety standards and appropriate use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
