Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding role in St. Louis, Missouri? Our logistics company is seeking a skilled Picker/Packer to join our dedicated team. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. You will also assist with maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring the warehouse is organized, and upholding our stringent Safety standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Your role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of our supply chain. You will encounter tasks involving consistent Lifting of product. To ensure your well-being, we provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and expect strict adherence to all Safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier specifications.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent picking and stock checks.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all established Safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading of shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet performance goals.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient warehouse operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive Lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Must be committed to workplace Safety and wear required PPE.
