Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stage incoming materials for processing.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies).
- Load and unload trucks and containers as needed.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all work areas, including aisles and storage zones.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Operate forklifts or other powered industrial trucks if certified and trained.
- Support team members in achieving daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Prior experience as a material handler or in a warehouse setting is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures is a must. Forklift certification is a plus. Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safety and following all protocols, including wearing PPE. This is an exciting opportunity within a robust logistics framework.
