We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Austin, Texas. This critical role involves maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring efficient operations and minimizing losses. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical counts, reconciling inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor stock levels and recommend adjustments to maintain optimal inventory.
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance inventory control and accuracy.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and data.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with operations, receiving, and shipping departments to ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Generate detailed reports on inventory accuracy, adjustments, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics and supply chain processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and upholding all PPE requirements.
