We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our expanding logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient movement and storage of goods. Responsibilities may include order picking, packing, sorting, loading, and unloading. A commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and above all, safety is essential. You will work within a fast-paced environment and are expected to adhere to all company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and sort orders accurately.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Meet performance goals for productivity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational objectives.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various warehouse tasks.
- Understanding of safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
