Your duties will include receiving and putting away inventory, picking and packing orders with precision, staging outgoing shipments, and maintaining the overall tidiness and safety of the warehouse floor. Physical stamina is key, as the position involves frequent movement, standing, and lifting of products. Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Sort and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage completed orders for outbound shipping.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles and common areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Participate in inventory control activities such as cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 55 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles and warehouse safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
