Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, locate, replenish, and stack merchandise in designated areas.
- Safely maneuver in narrow aisles and at various heights.
- Perform pre-operational checks on the reach truck to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the strict use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain inventory accuracy by properly stacking and storing products.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Participate in regular safety training and adhere to best practices in logistics.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification to operate a reach truck is mandatory.
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to operate in narrow aisles and at significant heights.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Must be able to perform lifting and work in varying temperatures.
- Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
