Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and making necessary repairs to keep our logistics operations running optimally. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to Safety. You will work with various types of warehouse machinery and must be proficient in their safe operation and maintenance, including proper use of PPE. This role may involve occasional Lifting and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of all equipment and facility areas.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA and company Safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely when necessary.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and organization as needed.
- Occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a strong plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA and general Safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
