About
We are seeking an organized and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role is integral to the efficient functioning of our logistics and distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a wide range of warehouse operations, including receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking inventory, fulfilling orders, and preparing shipments. A strong focus on accuracy and efficiency is essential for success in this position. You will work in a dynamic environment, interacting with various members of the logistics team. The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively is key. This role involves regular physical activity, including operating hand trucks, potential forklift operation (certification provided if needed), and the manual Lifting of products up to 60 lbs. We are committed to a safe workplace and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Comprehensive training in Safety procedures and proper handling techniques will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize proper Lifting techniques for all materials handled.
