About
We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our Sacramento, California warehouse. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will play a crucial role in maintaining order and facilitating the movement of goods within our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move pallets and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers using the reach truck.
- Pick and put away inventory in designated rack locations.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and documentation.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and company policies.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a safety helmet and vest.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean and organized.
- May involve occasional manual Lifting of items under 50 lbs.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations by ensuring timely movement of goods.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels and system information.
- Strong spatial awareness and precision.
- Must be able to work independently and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may include occasional Lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
