This role is crucial to our logistics department, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate, well-documented, and dispatched promptly. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, verifying order contents against packing slips, and coordinating with carriers. A strong understanding of shipping procedures and an unwavering commitment to Safety are essential. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a secure working environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print shipping labels and documentation.
- Verify outgoing orders for accuracy against packing lists.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate shipping records.
- Ensure packages are properly packed and secured for transit.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including some Lifting.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and external partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a shipping clerk or in a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and general computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of shipping regulations and carrier requirements.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
