Data Engineer
and help build scalable data solutions that power fiber network performance, customer insights, and operational reporting. Job Summary
As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, data architecture, and analytics tools that support cross?functional teams from field operations to marketing. This role requires a strong foundation in data engineering, cloud platforms, and business collaboration in a fast?paced, fiber?focused environment. Essential Functions Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to integrate data from CRM, OSS/BSS, GIS, network monitoring tools, and REST APIs. Write efficient, reusable Python and SQL code to process and transform large datasets. Develop automated tools for data validation, anomaly detection, and data quality monitoring. Build and optimize data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to support BI and analytics requirements. Maintain and enhance data infrastructure across on?premise and cloud environments (Google Cloud, Azure, PostgreSQL). Work closely with engineering, field operations, customer service, and other internal teams to understand data needs and align solutions with business priorities. Partner with stakeholders to define metrics, build datasets, and support dashboard development and performance tracking. Ensure all data processes follow Ezee Fibers standards for security, compliance, and data governance.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of experience in a data engineering or data pipeline development role. Proficient in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and at least one ETL framework (Airflow, dbt). Experience with cloud?based or on?premise data platforms (AWS, Azure, MS SQL, PostgreSQL). Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture (star/snowflake schemas). Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non?technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in telecommunications, utilities, or fiber network analytics. Familiarity with GIS systems (ESRI, QGIS) and spatial data integration. Exposure to OSS/BSS platforms or telecom monitoring tools (Calix, Ciena, Netcracker). Experience with real?time data streaming tools (Kafka, Spark).

Valid Drivers License.
Physical Requirements
