Millennium Corporation is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to work in a fully remote capacity. Qualified candidates must possess an active Secret clearance to support a US government client. Responsibilities include: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Databricks to handle large-scale data ingestion, transformation and storage Leverage Advana platform to integrate and analyze complex datasets, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational standards Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to provide actionable insights to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business users, to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, optimizing performance and scalability of data systems Stay current with emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics, and recommend improvements to existing processes Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data management and engineering Qualifications include: An active Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Computer/Data Science, or Information Systems Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related role Proven hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing, ETL workflows, and Spark-based applications Demonstrated expertise with the Advana data analytics platform, including data integration and querying capabilities Experience with Tableau or other dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) for creating visualizations and reports Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Possess a strong foundation in engineering principles to support data-driven decision-making across the organization 10 years of experience with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) projects in support of Department of Defense (DoD) efforts Preferred qualifications include: Experience in regulated industries such as government, defense, or finance, where data security is paramount. Certifications in Databricks, Tableau, or cloud data engineering. Business Development activities may include participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews. Physical Requirements include: Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time. Travel Requirements are less than 10%.
