Pharmacy Sales Representative (PSR)
plays a crucial role in expanding McKesson's portfolio of products and services within independent and long-term care pharmacies across a designated territory. This engaging position demands a proactive approach to account management and sales, allowing you to establish McKesson as a trusted partner for our pharmacy clients. In this field-based role, you will craft customized strategies for each account, ensuring comprehensive execution of our products and services throughout the sales cycle. Daily, you will actively engage with pharmacists and business owners, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable ally. Key Responsibilities: Meet and exceed annual sales targets for your designated territory. Develop and implement a detailed business plan to drive performance. Oversee a consultative sales approach from initial consultation to contract negotiations. Build a strong pipeline of opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building. Provide valuable insights and feedback to enhance McKesson's products and services. Offer strategic marketing guidance and financial analysis to support our clients' planning and success. Create compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business and expand existing accounts. Align with our ICARE principles to ensure success. Foster long-term relationships with key clients to enhance retention and credibility. Collaborate with internal teams to address issues and provide exceptional support. Engage in team sales efforts and conduct joint presentations to maximize growth. Keep detailed and accurate sales data in our CRM, ensuring real-time forecasting. Participate in special projects as needed. Minimum Requirement: A degree or equivalent experience is required, typically 4+ years in relevant fields. Education: A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, particularly with a focus on sales, marketing, or healthcare. Critical Skills: 4+ years of B2B field sales or account management experience, ideally within healthcare. 3+ years of demonstrable sales success with a history of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce). Adept in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements. Additional Skills: Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or related industries is a plus. Consultative sales expertise with the capacity to identify customer needs. Excellent communication skills, able to articulate value propositions effectively. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) for customer engagement. Strong business acumen and collaborative skills. Trustworthy, influential, and a proficient listener, able to adapt messages to various audiences. Independent, proactive, and committed to ongoing learning. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Working Conditions: Must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions; sponsorship is not available for this position.
